Willard Residence V

The bright, warm, and family ambiance of this newly expanded and renovated home is palpable throughout. The entryway features a vibrantly patterned tile floor and a unique walnut screen dividing the front room converted to a home office space.

In the kitchen, a hidden pantry and natural materials such as the butcher block island, exposed brick wall, and reclaimed barn board ceiling beams contribute to the modern farmhouse aesthetic.  The addition’s exterior vertical board and batten cladding gives a similar appearance, while the popped-up shed roof allows clerestory light into the middle bedroom and bath.

Custom features include a dining table for five, an integrated climbing wall and loft in one kids’ room, a magnetic back-painted glass wall, and a transparent wine cellar in the basement.
