The Willard Residence II renovation project transformed the ground floor and front porch. The kitchen received custom millwork, a new island, dining room storage, and a double door leading to the rear deck. New lighting was installed throughout the ground floor, revitalizing the space. To expand the kitchen, the existing stairs were relocated and reconfigured to occupy less area. The open-air front porch was sensitively enclosed, becoming a mudroom with extra closet space.
