After realizing that being featured on a quick makeover TV show was not going to meet all of their needs, nor give them the long term build they were seeking, this couple jumped from that ship just in time, deciding to invest more thoughtful time in the planning of their home. Enter L+C. This beautifully executed renovation opened up the ground floor plan, expanding and modernizing the 1980’s kitchen, dining and living rooms to the gorgeous riverfront views at the rear. A small front addition provides an elegant yet functional mudroom with visual connections to the main space. Integration of the owner’s own lighting products, adapting the existing masonry fireplace and designing cubbies for their cat are a few of the details tailored to make it theirs.
