The beautiful project, nestled in a ravine lot near the Humber River, began with the goal of refreshing and enhancing the home’s exterior. The unheated front entry porch was replaced with an elegant and modern mudroom that overlooks the unique plateau front garden. A rear yard oasis was also designed, complete with a built-in BBQ, covered and terraced decks, and a sauna cabana.
As construction commenced, the homeowners decided to expand the scope to include various interior elements. This encompassed a new kitchen, a reconfigured primary suite, custom millwork throughout the house, and new living and dining furniture and carpets.
The design embraced a Scandinavian modern style, creating a warm yet serene atmosphere that complements the homeowners’ impressive art collection. This project evolved and shifted during the pandemic, as construction work and supply chains were impacted. Finally, the stunning results can now be revealed.
