This modern cottage, nestled between Muskoka and Haliburton on a small lake, was built using a Mafco House modular system. Lynch + Comisso provided consulting services for the overall space planning, interior and exterior finishes, lighting, and millwork design. The custom millwork was carefully designed to fit seamlessly with the minimal architecture. Finishes and subtle details were chosen to lend warmth and character to the space. By incorporating the latest miniature recessed LED lighting, we were able to keep the white-washed board ceiling virtually free of holes, providing plenty of light and ambiance. Selective use of decorative lighting complements the cottage’s Nordic-inspired furnishings and decor.
