The original interior layout of this High Park home was congested, with the main stairs running side-to-side in the middle and too much space devoted to circulation and doors. To improve the flow and open up the rear views from the ravine-facing sunroom, we reconfigured the space beyond the stairs into a spacious kitchen with a central island. A new pantry and powder room were added beside the kitchen. In the front foyer and living room, we refreshed the space with new porcelain tiles, a fireplace surround with a reclaimed beam mantle, and custom millwork bench and closet. The overall interior fixtures and finishes are now modern and serene, creating a comfortable ambiance. Exterior upgrades, including new windows, eavestroughs, and a front portico, complete the transformation.
