This modern cottage, nestled between Muskoka and Haliburton on a small lake, was built using a modular system. Lynch + Comisso provided consulting services for the overall space planning, interior and exterior finishes, lighting, and millwork design. The custom millwork was carefully designed to fit seamlessly with the minimal architecture. The natural understated finishes lend to the warmth and character of the space. By incorporating the latest miniature recessed LED lighting, we were able to keep the white-washed board ceiling virtually free of holes, providing ample illumination and ambiance. Selective use of decorative task lighting and accent pieces complements the cottage’s Nordic-inspired furnishings and decor.
