This project began with the demolition of a neglected bungalow and the vision of the owner, and the architects/lighting designers. The three-storey modern house, inserted congruously into the 1940’s fabric of Toronto is lit entirely with LED lighting and uses less than 1W/SF. Architectural light slots, coves and swaths of texture add visual accents providing elements of both surprise and serenity throughout the house.
